Welcome to this 14 Day Retreat in the Jungle of Perú The Shipibo-Conibo tribes are one of the ancient indigenous cultures of the Peruvian jungle. They live around the Río Ucayali which is the main headstream of the Amazon river.  The Tangóa family is one of the traditional shaman families of the Shipibo Community of Nueva Betania. The family consists of 8 brothers and 1 sister that learn their traditions directly from their parents and grandparents, and teach to the new generations.  The older ancient shamans were called Merayas. These are wisdom people that have the ability to preform many spiritual and physical healings.
